2007 Multi-State Invitational Championship Results

2008  Stock Horse Invitational Championship  - RULES

    1. Deadline for proof of eligibility required from sanctioning organization or association must be postmarked by August 29, 2008. Points accumulated after that date will not be considered. Each sanctioning organization will provide a list of its top five leaders in each class as of August 29, 2008. Those leaders will be extended an invitation to participate. Should there only be three leaders as of that date, it is not permissible to add "fill-ins" to make the limit of five.

    2. Eligibility goes to horse and rider/exhibitor.

    3. NO REFUNDS OR SUBSTITUTIONS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON.

    4. Should substitution or fraudulent entries be attempted, all prizes, monies and recognition will be withdrawn. Strict adherence to eligibility rules must be observed by the exhibitor, owner, and sanctioning organization. Any sanctioning organization proven not to have strictly adhered to the eligibility rules and/or the criteria for eligibility, or found to have submitted fraudulent entries will be subject to loss of participation privileges for subsequent years.

    5. Proof of eligibility required. Establishment of eligibility is the sole responsibility of the sanctioning organization and goes to the horse and a designated rider/exhibitor combination for each class. However, the designated rider/exhibitor must have earned at least 50% of the qualifying points on the designated horse. (Example: John shows horse & earns 3 points; Susie shows horse and earns 5 points – total points earned is 8; Susie earned at least 50% of the points and is the eligible exhibitor.)

    6. If exact class where eligibility was established is not available, entry can be made in class most similar with approval of show committee.

    7. Stall or tie up fee required for every horse. Stalls and RV hookups can be reserved; otherwise will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

    8. Paybacks will be mailed within 14 days. In the event of insufficient funds check paid for show fees -all prizes and paybacks are forfeited.

    9. Numbers must be clearly visible to the judge. Wrong or missing numbers will be disqualified.

    10. Stallions are excluded from all youth classes.

    11. Appropriate attire required as defined in AQHA rules, Western or English, except in timed events, where CRSHA rules will apply. Note: Safety helmets shall be deemed appropriate attire in any class.

    12. Speed events- All running classes must start and finish inside arena. Horses running in or out of the arena will be disqualified. Patterns will be posted at entry office.

    13. Ponies may only show in classes denoting Pony Judged, Pony Timed, and Lead-Line only. Ponies must measure 54" and under and will be measured prior to entering the arena.

    14. Proof of age of exhibitor and horse may be required. Age determined as of January 1st.

    15. Proof of amateur or youth status may be required.

    16. Exhibitor is not required to be a CRSHA member to be eligible to show in the Invitational, however, invited exhibitor must be a member of the sanctioning association or organization.

    17. Stock type horses only. No gaited classes offered. No cattle classes offered.

    18. Negative Coggins required.

    19. Exhibitors must be checked in at entry office at least 3 classes prior to showing.

    20. No person shall treat any horse in a cruel or inhumane manner as defined in AQHA rules.

    21. All equipment shall pass AQHA rules.

    22. All horses subject to drug testing.

    23. Two-judge system will be utilized for all classes. Each judge will individually place all entries in a class. One judge will be the designated tie-breaker for each class. Points will be allocated according to number of horses in a class. After judges cards are turned in classes will be lined up and announced according to each judge’s placing. Final lineup will be the composite placing and final placing of the class.

    24.  Paybacks will be made on 80% of the entries fees per class and up to five places paid.

    25. All disputes and/or grievances must be submitted in writing to the Invitational Board no later than five (5) days following the show. The Invitational Board shall have the absolute and undisputed final say in determining the outcome of any such dispute and/or grievances on any matter whatsoever.

    26. Rule infractions and/or challenges submitted during the show or within three (3) days following the show will hold all paybacks for the class or classes affected until a majority of the Invitational Board has determined the outcome. Said determination to be made within ten (10) days from final day of show. The Invitational Board shall have the absolute and undisputed final say in determining the outcome of any such dispute and/or grievances on any matter whatsoever.

    27. The Invitational Board reserves the right to post all rule infractions and/or challenges on the CRSHA website should they deem necessary in the fair determination of the outcome in the matter. The Invitational Board shall have the absolute and undisputed final say in determining the outcome of any such dispute and/or grievances on any matter whatsoever.

 

The Multi-State Invitational Stock Horse Championship Board nor the Cross Roads Stock Horse Association is not responsible for any accidents or incidents resulting in injury or death to any person or animal on the grounds during the duration of this show.

 

2008 Stock Horse Invitational Championship  -  GUIDELINES

  1. Letters of intent to participate and appropriate fee of $100.00 must be submitted and postmarked by June 15, 2008 by the potential sanctioning organization.

  2. Name of designated contact person for each organization must be filed with the Invitational Board, along with a copy of the most current membership list along with the letter of intent to participate and a copy of that association’s set show bill for the year.

  3. The participating association may appoint up to two (2) representatives to the Multi-State Invitational Stock Horse Association Advisory Committee for the purpose of providing feedback, input and suggestions for the successful development of this event by the Invitational Board. These appointees must be willing to travel to meet with the Invitational Board at least once a year

  4. Horse show associations, circuits, breed associations, color associations, and state horse councils for stock-type horses are eligible to participate as a sanctioning organization.

  5. Eligibility goes to the horse- and designated eligible rider/exhibitor combination. Establishment of eligibility is the sole responsibility of the sanctioning organization, however rider/exhibitor must have significantly contributed by earning at least 50% of the qualifying points earned by the horse before August 20, 2007.

  6. The required form listing all eligible participants must be submitted to the Invitational Board and postmarked by midnight August 29, 2008 and must be signed and attested to by the Secretary of the association along with the signature of one additional current officer of the organization.

  7. Sanctioning organizations will be responsible for monitoring for strict adherence to eligibility rules and guidelines of the Multi-State Stock Horse Invitational Championship; and with the understanding that infractions of those rules and guidelines may result in forfeiture of awards and prizes.
