Dear Cross Roads Members, You are cordially invited to the 2010 Annual Membership Meeting scheduled on February 20 at Golden Corral on Glenstone & Primrose from 1 pm to 3 pm. Activities will include the Annual Meeting of the General Membership at which decisions will be made on the upcoming year, rule changes, 2010 set show bill, etc. We have received three proposals to be voted on by the membership. Add: Ranch Horse Pleasure class to the set show bill Nomination fee of $10.00 pre horse to be eligible for year end awards. Increase the amount of the All-Around awards Hi Point from $250.00 to $350.00 Res. Hi Point from $75.00 to $110.00 Our Guest Speaker this year is Stacey Huntington DVM., she will have a presentation on Acupuncture! Also-David Beers will be available to educate us on our web-site and how we can benefit not only as a club, but personally by utilizing the services it has to offer! We have a great Board of Directors and Officers working hard for us again this year. As usual we are selling pages in the Directory, with a dead-line of March 20th . Please contact Sonya Anderson or any Board Member or Officer if you wish to purchase an ad or if you know someone who would like to advertise in our directory. The revenue from the Directory is how we finance our Awards, so it’s crucial that we sell as many ads as possible. The 2010 Horse show schedule is being completed and will be posted as soon as it’s finalized. The CRSHA Invitational was a huge success this year. Plans are already being finalized for this year’s Invitational Show Sept 25 & 26, 2010 at the Lucky J Arena in Carthage Mo. Horsefest is scheduled for March 12, 13 & 14 at the Fairgrounds. CRSHA will have an informational booth again this year! If you would like to volunteer to work during Horsefest let Lee Rollins, David McElwain or myself know and we’ll put you on the schedule. Be sure and stop by our booth while you’re at Horsefest! We are subscribing to Central Horseman publication this year! Be sure to pay your subscription fee of $7.50 to Janice Lee by April 1st in order to get your copy for the 2010 season. We are continuing to update our website www.CRSHA.net with all of our horse show information and events. The Banquet pictures have been posted- they are great, be sure and check them out. FACEBOOK-become a fan of CRSHA! We recently started our own page, please join our growing friends list! Life Time Members-if you know of someone who should be nominated give that name to Jack Shuler. I want to say a BIG-"Thank You" to the Officers and Board Members for volunteering their time and energy to CRSHA.
